Your hair and the changing seasons
Summer is already on its way out. Leaves are changing colours, the sun is getting more and more shy and the temperature is slowly starting to drop. Don’t worry - it’s perfectly normal that your hair changes too!
Your hair is dry and falls off? Leaves also fall, if that’s any comfort! Of course, if your hair loss is excessive and it worries you, better see your GP about it. But remember that it is normal to loose hair every day, even more between seasons. On average, we lose between 50 and 100 strands per day. However, it is possible to make some simple changes in your hair care routine to get through this rough phase when transitioning between seasons.
Simple changes to your hair care routine
- Replace your shampoo and conditioner. Find one without paraffin or other chemicals (anything that can clog the hair follicles).
- When rinsing, finish with cold water in order to close hair cuticles.
- Don’t be afraid to delicately massage your scalp to stimulate blood circulation.
- Use alcohol-free hair product, like a moisturizing hair cream.
Suggestion? The Oneka Nourishing Cream. Who is it for? For those who want soft hair with a bit of texture at the tips, not too much volume and without overloading the scalp with hair product. Your hair will be grateful, believe us!
